Tryout for the Rockers
Registration/warm ups begin a half-hour prior to each scheduled try out. Girls should bring a softball glove, helmet, bat and cleats/tennis shoes and wear workout clothing. Tennis shoes will be required if try outs are moved indoors due to the weather.
Teams are made up primarily of girls who live within the Appleton East school district. Players are selected based on their try out performance, and all final rosters are approved by the South Appleton Softball Association Board of Directors.
Players who are selected and their families must be willing to travel on weekends to play in tournaments. In addition, each family must volunteer at the Kick-Off Classic Tournament.
Registration Fee: 8U – $125, 10U – $200, 12U and up – $225
Optional Helmet: $40
Required Jersey: $58
Required Pants: $32

- * 9:00AM – 10:30AM: 14U, 16U, and 18U teams
- * 10:30AM – 11:00AM: Optional pitching/catching for all teams
- * 11:00AM – 12:30PM: 8U, 10U, and 12U teams
In case of inclement weather, tryouts will be moved to the gym at Appleton East High School. Make sure to bring tennis shoes.
Players unable to attend the August 18th, 2019 tryouts may tryout on the make-up date (Sunday, August 25th, 2019 from 10:00AM – 11:30AM)
