In the case of inclement weather, tryouts will be moved into the new gym at Appleton East—enter Schaeffer St. parking lot.

Registration/warm ups begin a half-hour prior to each scheduled try out. Girls should bring a softball glove, helmet, bat and cleats/tennis shoes and wear workout clothing. Tennis shoes will be required if try outs are moved indoors due to the weather.
Teams are made up primarily of girls who live within the Appleton East school district. Players are selected based on their try out performance, and all final rosters are approved by the South Appleton Softball Association Board of Directors.
Players who are selected and their families must be willing to travel on weekends to play in tournaments. In addition, each family must volunteer at the Kick-Off Classic Tournament.
Cost to play is $200, including a Rockers helmet, or $175 without a helmet (or $175 and $150, respectively, for 10U players). This cost does not include travel expenses.
